Wee Waa High School is pleased to announce we are hosting a Disability Expo on June 13, 2018 from 11 am-1 pm in the Wee Waa High School Library.
Who should go?
The Expo provides an excellent opportunity for people with disabilities, their parents, families and carers to get information directly from the wide variety of Disability Service Providers attending the Expo. This Expo is for people of any age who have a disability. Advice will be provided on a one-to-one basis.
The Providers are travelling to Wee Waa for the Expo, saving people with disabilities and their families the time and money involved in travelling to Tamworth or larger Centres – which is usually the case when accessing Disability Service information.
What can we learn? Disability and Community Organisations will be available to provide information and advice on:
• Accessing the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)
• Early Intervention Services
• Carer Support
• Training and Education
• Post-School options.
It’s free – but RSVP, so we can offer you a cup of tea and a biscuit while you talk to the visiting providers.
