Lucky Flats Lavender is locally owned and operated. They also manufacture their own handmade lavender products.
The land on which the lavender is grown was won in a ballot by one of the current owner's great grandmothers in 1924. After the ballot was won she aptly named the property "Lucky Flats". Hence the origin of the product name.
Lucky Flats Lavender try to keep their plants and product as natural as possible, without the use of harsh chemicals, colours or dye.
They use rosemary leaf extract and grape seed extract to preserve the products. As a result of the all natural ingredients most of the products are white or clear in colour, with any colouring relating to the type of oil used.
The use of all natural ingredients helps to reduce the likelihood of skin irritations such as eczema or dermatitis, which can be brought on by commercially bought products.
