If touring the shire leaves you thirsty, Seplin Estate Winery can quench this with a drop (or two) of award-winning wine or port. The region’s chocolate loam soil and warm summer sun lend themselves to the production of top-quality red and white wines, sparkling wines and port.
Situated where Wee Waa’s first house was built, the cellar door is a refurbished woodwork room from the old Wee Waa Central School. Here, you can sample the delightful flavours produced from locally grown grapes and learn how they came about from the friendly operators, Lindy and Archie. You can also sit back and relax in shaded comfort overlooking tranquil bushland and the Wee Waa Lagoon.
Seplin Estate Wines also caters for functions such as weddings, conferences and parties, and offers prearranged catering for 10 or more people. The venue is fully licensed with EFTPOS available. You can stay for a while, with self-contained camping available in return for a small daily fee or the equivalent wine or port purchase. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the abundant birdlife and evening kangaroo visits.
The winery is located on the outskirts of Wee Waa on Chifley Road, just 1km from the town centre.
